The writing on this site, including the sample chapters, book descriptions, and biographies, is © Dr. Arlene Rotter. Book covers belong to Arlene or to their publishers and designers, and photos belong to their owners. All rights are reserved.
You’re welcome to read everything here and to share links to it. You may quote short passages in a review, article, or commentary, with credit to Dr. Arlene Rotter and, where possible, a link back. Anything more, including copying, republishing, translating, or adapting a sample chapter or other text, needs Arlene’s written permission.
Press materials
The author bios in the press kit are free to use in pitches, catalogs, event listings, and coverage of Arlene and her books. Please don’t change them in ways that alter their meaning. High-resolution author photos are available on request.

You may not use any content from this site, especially the sample chapters and unpublished work, to train or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems, or for text and data mining, without Arlene’s written permission. We expressly reserve these rights, including for text and data mining under EU law.
Trademarks
The Rebel Writer™ is a trademark of Arlene Rotter. Please don’t use it, or her name, in a way that suggests she endorses you, your product, or your work.
Unsolicited ideas and manuscripts
Arlene doesn’t accept unsolicited story ideas, manuscripts, or other creative material. If you send some anyway, you agree that she has no obligation to read it, keep it confidential, return it, or pay you for it, and that any similarity between it and her own work, past or future, gives you no claim against her.
Links to other websites
We link to other websites, such as the retailers that sell Arlene’s books. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or policies.

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is.” Details such as book availability and formats can change, and the site may occasionally be unavailable.
